Hello, I am Slash Prower. I have no life. Therefore, I created a fanfiction about a game that I like and nobody else does. This is because the story was one of the best I've ever seen in a game, and I allow that to make up for a lot of gameplay issues and that piece-of-crap last third of the game. Since I still need to work out some problems about the first chapter (namely, how to continue from that stupid ending), here's some basic information about Kane, Lynch, and Crow. I did quite a bit of research, so this is all pretty accurate. Man, that says a damn lot about my social life, doesn't it?
Basic Information (Background)-
Kane is a mercenary that joined (or helped found- somewhat unclear) The7 after his son shot himself with Kane's gun. He was sentenced to death row after a job went wrong in Venezuela. Meanwhile, Lynch, a paranoid schizophrenic, was sentenced to death row for the murder of his wife (who he did murder, no matter what he says) and hired him to be Kane's watchdog as they send him to get the diamonds that Kane took from the Venezuelan job after leaving his team for dead. If he does it right, they give Lynch Kane's seat. (SPOILER: He does; they don't)
To ensure that Kane gets them the diamonds, they take his wife and daughter. If he fails, they die along with him. If he succeeds, he still dies, but his family lives. (MORE SPOILERS: He fails, wife dies as planned, Kane helps daughter escape, daughter gets captured again, Kane tries to save her and gets her killed)
It would take way too long to tell you the rest, so look it up on Youtube. There are playthroughs of the game, complete with cutscenes, there. It ends with Kane, Lynch, and Kane's dead daughter floating away in some God-forsaken boat in the middle of nowhere while Shelley makes off with the money because he's a dick. (There was another ending, where Kane proves he's a complete traitor by leaving Lynch, Shelley, and Rific to die in order to save his daughter by taking a helicopter, but only assholes actually chose that ending. Besides, it's not canon.)
